Position: Receptionist/Administrator (Maternity cover)

Organisation: Signpost Recovery

Remuneration: £15,023 – £16,838.  Company benefits include 30-34 days annual leave, company pension scheme, Childcare Voucher Scheme

Core hours of work: Monday – Friday, 0900 – 1700 (37.5 hours per week), however occasional evening/weekend work may be required.

Contract: 12 months fixed term, to cover maternity leave.

Location: Signpost Recovery Office Alloa, but some flexibility will be required

Role:

Signpost Recovery are delighted to offer an amazing opportunity for an experienced Receptionist / Office Administrator to join our team based in Alloa, and help make a difference in people’s lives.

The key duties/functions for this position includes:

  • Handling all incoming telephone calls
  • Meet and greet clients and visitors
  • Provide administration support
  • Monitor staff locations, and assist in the lone working policy
  • Opening, sorting, and distributing mail on a daily basis
  • Adhere to the company’s Health and Safety Policies and Procedures

 

Skills / Knowledge / Experience / Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will be pro-active, flexible, confident, have an eye for detail, and have experience in working on a busy reception desk.  They should also be able to demonstrate excellent communication skill, in addition to delivering an outstanding level of customer service.

Signpost Recovery is Scottish based registered charity limited by guarantee (SC 033772). Signpost Recovery has grown considerably over the five years and has demonstrated year on year growth and we now have an annual turnover of £1.9 Million. Signpost Recovery is governed by a Board of Directors and is strategically led, managed and operated on a day-to-day basis by a Senior Management Team consisting of a General Manager and an Operation Manager. Signpost Recovery has objectives whereby we provide advice, information, support and access to treatment for clients and their families affected by substance misuse in the Forth Valley area- Stirling, Falkirk and Clackmannanshire. Signpost is now involved in a number of partnerships with Falkirk Council, NHS Forth Valley and Combat Stress for the provision of addiction, recovery and support services both in community and prison settings.
