Position: Administrator – Reception (Maternity Cover)

Organisation: Signpost Recovery.

Remuneration: £15,023 – £16,838.  Company benefits include 30-34 days annual leave, company pension scheme, Life Assurance and a Childcare Voucher Scheme.

Core hours of work: Monday – Friday, 09.00 – 17.00 (37.5 hours per week), however occasional evening/weekend work may be required.

Contract: 12 months fixed term, to cover maternity leave.

Location: Signpost Recovery Office’s Alloa, but some flexibility will be required.

 Disclosure Scotland Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) information: The successful candidate will be expected to apply for an enhanced disclosure. Signpost Recovery will meet the costs associated with applications to Disclosure Scotland as part of Signpost’s recruitment process. Where an employee chooses to leave their employment with Signpost within 6 months of their start date or where an employee fails to complete their probationary period, Signpost will deduct the cost of the PVG from their final salary.

 

Role:

Signpost Recovery are delighted to offer an opportunity for an experienced Receptionist / Office Administrator to join our team based in Alloa, and help make a difference in people’s lives.

The key duties/functions for this position includes:

  • Handling all incoming telephone calls
  • Meet and greet clients and visitors
  • Provide administration support
  • Monitor staff locations, and assist in the lone working policy
  • Opening, sorting, and distributing mail on a daily basis
  • Adhere to the company’s Health and Safety Policies and Procedures

Skills / Knowledge / Experience / Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will be pro-active, flexible, confident, have an eye for detail, and have experience in working on a busy reception desk.  They should also be able to demonstrate excellent communication skill, in addition to delivering an outstanding level of customer service.

Signpost Recovery is Scottish based registered charity limited by guarantee (SC 033772). Signpost Recovery has grown considerably over the five years and has demonstrated year on year growth and we now have an annual turnover of £1.9 Million.
